Tapestry Folkdance Center creates opportunities for participation in the joys of dance and music from around the world. You’ll love dancing at Tapestry! No partner is needed to dance in this safe, family friendly, alcohol-free environment. Our facility is accessible to those with disabilities. For most classes, no experience is necessary and beginners are welcome! You can pay at the door: no pre-registration required (unless specified otherwise for special events).
Community Contra October 29
Hey..look at that, five Saturdays in October. That means we’ll be having another Community Contra, with band members and callers from the larger, talented community that dances here at Tapestry. There will be one band practice session on October 25, from 7:00-9:30 at Tapestry. If you want to be part of the band, attending the practice is encouraged. Ken Steffenson and Erin Walsh are the band wranglers for the dance. If you would like a set list, contact Ken.
Member Meeting – November 5
Members (and anyone interested in becoming a member), we hope you can attend the annual
Member Meeting on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 pm. There will be a brief program with updates on
Tapestry activities, an overview of our financial status, and a review of our goals for the coming
year. Questions, comments, ideas, are welcome. It ends with an ice cream social.
