Tapestry Folkdance Center

Tapestry is proud to be a co-sponser of "9 Nights of Music" at the Minnesota History Center
being held every Tuesday evening in July and August from 6:30 to 8pm
We will be providing instructors for a variety of dances including Irish/Celtic, Brazilian,
Cajun/Zydeco, West Africa, Swing, Contra and others.

Welcome to Tapestry!

Since 1983, Tapestry Folkdance Center has provided opportunities to participate in the joys of dance and music from around the world in a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.

Tapestry regularly offers Swing dance classes and workshops, International folk dancing, New England Contra dancing, Family Folk Dance, and English Country dancing. In addition, we also offer other dance forms on a less frequent basis, including monthly Scandinavian dances and a First Saturday Swing Dance with live music.

Dancers with all levels of experience are welcome!

Teaching is offered at the beginning of most dances.
