In a contra dance, a leader known as a Caller teaches for 30 minutes before the dance begins. During this introductory “walk-through” period, participants learn the dance by walking through the steps and formations, following the caller’s instructions.

English country dances are elegant social dances from the 17th and 18th Centuries that are danced to Baroque and Early Music. The first Sunday of the month includes live music by The Anytime English Players and starts an hour earlier for more dancing fun!
Bollywood is a freestyle dance form based on moves
found in popular Indian/Bollywood films. It’s energetic, lyrical and aerobic, modeled on classical and folk dance forms of India (Bhangra, Raas, Kathak, and Lavani), and influenced by Western hip hop.
A caller teaches dances from the British Isles and early America, including group circle and longways dances and singing games. All ages welcome! The focus is on simple, easy-to-learn dances everyone can enjoy. Live music every month. Breaks will feature snacks and kid-friendly activities. Join us!

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday Tapestry brings you a mix of Ballroom or Latin dance, including foxtrot, cha-cha, salsa, waltz, American tango, East and West Coast swing, rumba, bolero and more. the evening begins with an hour of less, then a dance to practice your new skills. 3rd Sunday Ballroom includes live music!
The dance and music of Scandinavian countries are celebrated each 2nd Sunday, with vals, polka, schottis, hambo, snoa, mazurka, polska, and springar. Beginning lessons ensure all levels of dancers can dance these beautiful dances.
Line dancing is thriving worldwide, and not just with country music. Line dancing is great, low impact exercise for all ages. Beginning and intermediate lessons start the evening; a split floor during the dance accommodates both new and experienced dancers so everyone has fun.
The waltz is one of the world’s most popular couple dances. It is easily accessible for beginners and endlessly challenging for experienced dancers. The extensive canon of waltz music is extraordinarily beautiful and varied.
