Tapestry Folkdance Center creates opportunities for participation in the joys of dance and music from around the world. You’ll love dancing at Tapestry! No partner is needed to dance in this safe, family friendly, alcohol-free environment. Our facility is accessible to those with disabilities. For most classes, no experience is necessary and beginners are welcome! You can pay at the door: no pre-registration required (unless specified otherwise for special events).

Dance the Balkan Way!!
We welcome a month of special guest teachers at Friday Night International Folk Dance in collaboration with BIBACH. Each evening features a guest teacher teaching for one hour, followed by request dancing of international favorites.
Friday, 9/29 7:30 – 8:30 pm Greek dancing with Angela Panoskaltsis -Mortari
Friday, 10/6 7:30 – 8:30 pm Romanian dancing with John Omorean
Friday, 10/13 7:30 – 8:30 pm Turkish dancing with Ahmet Luleci
Friday, 10/20 7:30 – 9 pm Serbian, Croatian & Montenegrin dances with Bata Marcetic (45 minutes)
Bulgarian dancing with Konstantin Marinov (45 minutes)

Prepaid Dance Cards!
You’ve been asking for dance cards and now Tapestry is pleased to be able to say, “We’ve got them!” You can purchase a refillable dance card for $50 (cash, check or credit card) from a Tapestry admissions volunteer.
