Great News at Tapestry!

It was less than three months ago that the Fund Development committee sent out a letter to Tapestry friends inviting support for retiring our mortgage. The letter described our hope to raise and set aside the approximately $24,000 ($23,844.59) balance that will remain in January 2018. If not paid off when it comes due at that time, Tapestry would have to refinance and continue to carry the approximately $1,400 obligation every month for mortgage payment (principal and interest) that we’ve been carrying for years.

The response has been swift, amazing and gratifying. Because of the generosity of the Tapestry community, we now have the funds in hand for the pay-off!

What does this mean? It means Tapestry will be debt-free in a year! Being free of the mortgage obligation will free up funds to use in other ways to benefit programs and facility at Tapestry.

Thanks to all who made this possible!

Prepaid Dance Cards!

You’ve been asking for dance cards and now Tapestry is pleased to be able to say, “We’ve got them!” You can purchase a refillable dance card for $50 (cash, check or credit card) from a Tapestry admissions volunteer. The dance card can be used at any Tapestry-sponsored event (not a rental dance program). Learn more about our prepaid dance cards.
