9 Nights of Music at the Minnesota History Center!
It’s music. It’s dance. It’s outdoors. It’s free. What is it? “9 Nights,” of course, Tapestry’s annual collaboration with the Minnesota Historical Society for Tuesday night fun in the summer sun. Come for a half-hour of dance instruction suited to the evening’s music. Then stay for more dancing, or just to listen to the music! Pack a picnic or buy food/beer/wine. If it rains, the party moves indoors. Check out more info on our 9 Nights page.
Want to learn folkdance?
Try our International Summer Sampler!
Ever wanted to try your hand at folkdance but didn’t know where to begin? Come on down to our International Summer Sampler on Friday nights this summer at Tapestry and see what folkdancing is all about in a fun and beginner oriented environment. Absolutely no dance experience required! Check out more information on our Summer Samplers.
Attention Bike Riders
Tapestry loves bikers. Getting to Tapestry by bike helps with parking and traffic congestion (especially during the roadway reconstruction on Minnehaha) and gets you warmed up for dancing! But please – NO BIKES inside the building. They leave tire marks on the carpet and handlebars nick the walls. Please use the bike racks provided outside the building. Thanks for helping to keep Tapestry looking good.
