Membership

Tapestry Folkdance Center is a 501 (c) (3) membership-supported organization. While being a member is not necessary for attending events, it is a way to belong and to be connected with your dance community. Members are vital to supporting the inspiring music and world dance programs and weekly operations that keep Tapestry Folkdance Center strong - from providing quality dance experiences, lively music and fabulous callers to ensuring building management and developing global renter relationships. Tapestry provides programs with a rich history to contemporary perspectives encouraging people of all ages, abilities, and preferences opportunities to express themselves and explore various cultures.

Since most dances offer a member discount, membership offers a “frequent user” card in the savings it yields if used often ($2 discount per dance used 3 x month = $72.00/year).

Membership is $70.00 per year, as of September 2013. This rate is per individual regardless of age. Monthly, quarterly, or annual payment options available, starting at a minimum $6 per month.
