Tapestry is in the midst of a very exciting time, where the question “Who are we in 2029?” is top of mind. The Board of Director are at the helm of building and clarifying that vision!

Tapestry’s Board meets the 4th Thursday of the month, 7-8pm, hybrid - with some joining in person and some on zoom or google meet. Meetings are open to the public.

Interested in Joining? The process of application is as follows:

1. Reach out to express interest. Email executivedirector@tapestryfolkdance.org or any board current board member.

2. (Optional) If you’d like, meet with a current board member - Share your ideas, questions, and learn more about current organizational goals.

3. In any order:

   1. Visit a Board Meeting – Meet the other Members for an informal interview, observe the current board structure and culture.

   2. Submit a formal letter of interest that includes why you are interested in serving on the board, what experience you bring, your history with Tapestry, the arts, and/or nonprofits, and any other board experience.

4. Board Members vote.

5. Invited in – review and submit your board member agreement.

6. Onboarding process begins - Jump in!!
