Linda comes from a line of old-time musicians. Her grandfather, polka legend, Syl Liebl played the concertina. Her mother, Carol Seebauer, played the piano with Syl Liebl and the Jolly Swiss Boys, and her father, Frank was an old-time drummer. Linda grew up dancing polkas and waltzes in halls across the Midwest. A fond memory is celebrating her grandfather’s 1993 induction into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, New Ulm, MN. Today, her sisters Lisa Meyer (piano) and Amy Magnuson (concertina) carry on the tradition, while Linda finds time to attend one or two dances a year. Young Linda wanted to fly in an invisible jet and wear a super-human strength tiara like Wonder Woman.
